DJ Khaled Wants Nicki Minaj & Kim Collab

With all the tension between Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj, one man wants to not fix the problem but have the two do a collaboration on his next album. DJ Khaled says he would be first in line to unite both female rappers adding he hopes that they will do it on his follow-up to this year's "Victory" album.

"I don't get into controversy too much. I love Nicki Minaj, I love Lil Kim. I don't think they sound like each other. They're both great MCs, I would love to see them do a record together. I want to see if I can make that happen, if on my next album I can make Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj do a record together, featuring DJ Khaled. That might be the biggest record in the game."

Therapist Says Foxy Brown Has Issues

After her recent arrest on an alleged assault and probation violation charge earlyer this week, an ex-therapist for Foxy Brown has came forward to talk about the rapper's problems. According to the source, Foxy is currently struggling through lots of sadness.

"It doesn't surprise me," said the therapist, who requested anonymity. "She's obviously got a lot of issues and needs ongoing help, and I hope she gets it." The counselor said Brown has struggled to cope with a loss of hearing while trying to launch her comeback. "I think she's got a lot of frustration and a lot of sadness, and she's trying to grab power where she can," the therapist said.

NBA Baller Stephen Jackson's Home Robbed

On Wednesday morning, three armed men broke into the home of Charlotte Bobcats player Stephen Jackson. The robbers managed to enter Jackson’s $1.7-million home in a gated community while he was away in Texas attending a camp. The three masked gunmen locked Jackson’s wife, Renata, inside a bathroom and took a 9mm pistol, a Louis Vuitton wallet, and a ruby-encrusted wristwatch, among other things, police said. No suspects have been arrested in connection with the robbery.

Rumors have been circulating that this may have been an inside job. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg have been real tight-lipped about the details but did mention how unusual it was for three masked gunman to make entry into a private gated community with heavy security.

The-Dream Leaves Days Before Daughters Birth

With news breaking that The-Dream had left pregnant wife Christina Milian recently, their official divorce papers have now leaked online showing that he filed for seperation a few days prior to the birth of their daughter. According to gossip website TMZ.com, The-Dream (aka Terius Nash) claimed the marriage was "irretrievably broken" adding "There is no hope for reconciliation."

Last week, The-Dream issued an open letter to fans addressing his seperation. "I take FULL RESPONSIBILITY for misleading everyone into thinking everything was fine and okay when we knew problems existed for awhile! I wanted to speak up but we decided it wasn't for anyone to know. I would NEVER intentionally hurt a soul and everyone around me knows that! Lloyd Banks Avoids Jail & Fines In Canada

Long-time G-Unit member Lloyd Banks got lucky as he reportedly avoided not only time in jail but also fines after a judge dismissed charges relating to an assault arrest that took place back in January while he was in Canada.

According to reports, the judge made the ruling last week in Ontario and it was confirmed today by Lloyd Banks' attorney. "Banks would like to thank his Canadian counsel, Patrick Ducharme, and the authorities in Ontario for doing the right thing," Banks' United States lawyer, Scott Leemon ESQ., said. "After a careful and neutral evaluation of the facts, it is good to see that the system actually work. With this finally behind him, Banks looks forward to coming back to Canada soon."

Dame Dash Talks Falling Out With Jay-Z

Co-Founder of Roc-A-Fella Records Damon "Dame" Dash recently opened up about his infamous falling out with rapper Jay-Z back in 2005, saying he was betrayed. Talking about when Jay-Z offered his rights to the name "Roc-A-Fella" in exchange for his masters for the "Resonable Doubt" album, Dash talks about being shocked by the offer.

"We all earned those masters," Dash says. "The people that I was helping, once they realized their dreams, they did what a criminal would do," Dash continues. "They stabbed you in the back. Think about the frustration of building a brand for years that should be taking care of your family, and then the person that was the closest to you saying, 'Nah, you can't have no parts of it,' and flushing it."

Foxy Brown recently took to her twitter account to talk about her arrest this week after she was taken into police custody for allegedly assaulting a neighbor who had a protection order against her. Foxy wrote the following on twitter...

Kid Cudi Attacks A drunk Fan after runing on stage!

Cameras caught Kid Cudi running to beat down a fan who previously ran on-stage during his performance at the Ohio Homecoming concert in Cleveland. The cops got involved and slammed the "fan" on the ground. No word yet if Cudi got himself into trouble with the law again as well.

Lil Wayne May Be Saying Farewell To Rikers Island

After stepping into Rikers Island on March 8, half way through his one-year jail sentence, there is a possibility Lil Wayne will get an early release if he stays away from violations for behavioral issues.

If all goes well, Weezy will be headed home November 4.

Lil Wayne’s manger, Cortez Bryant announced the rapper will release an EP, “I’m Not A Human Being” on his 28th birthday, September 27. The digital release will also preview Tha Carter IV set to hit stores by the end of the year.

Too Short Gets Arrested!

Too Short was arrested last night for battery when he and one of his boys allegedly punched, kicked and pushed three security guards. The fight started because security stopped Too Short from taking two underaged girls backstage and into his dressing room.

Cleveland Cavs Owner FINED

Looks like Dan Gilbert struck a nerve with NBA Commissioner David Stern after reading his open letter to Cleveland fans because Stern has charged Gilbert $100,000 for his rant.

But get this, Cleveland fans are offering to help this billionaire pay the fine. Granted his basketball franchise is worth millions LESS since LeBron left but Gilbert is still worth close to $1 billion.

Gilbert issued a statement of thanks but declined the offers:

"The humbling offer by so many is another reflection of the strength of Cavs fans and the people who live and work in this region and are always the first to step up and have each other's back," Gilbert said. "I will pay this fine myself, but would be grateful and highly appreciative for any fan who redirects the dollars they kindly offered to contribute towards this fine to the Cavaliers Youth Fund, which will positively impact our region's kids through the numerous local charitable groups the Cavaliers Youth Fund supports."

Waka Flocka Flame Investigated For Sexual Assault

Members of Waka Flocka's entourage are being investigated for sexual assault, according to Akron, Ohio police. A woman filed a complaint that she was sexually assaulted on the rapper's tour bus.

Police detectives boarded the tour bus in a search yesterday. No charges have been filed against yet and police are still investigating the complaint. Lt. Rick Edwards told a Cleveland newspaper, "We have an upset woman, but nothing has been determined yet."

Rick Rozay has put an end to his beef with 50 cent

. The beef got ugly when 50 Cent leaked a sex tape of Ricky’s baby’s mama and then took her on a shopping spree to get her to bad mouth Rick. But now, Rick says enough is enough.

In an MTV News interview, Ricky says he does not want to put out any more pollution in the rap game.

That’s the beauty of the art; you can take it and channel it any way you want to. Of course, I realize I put a lot of pollution out there as well that I wouldn’t this year. 50 Cent also recently talked about the beef between the him and the new Rick Rozay to the LA Times.

Suge Knight A Wanted Man Again

According to celebrity gossip website TMZ.com Suge Knight is a wanted man again. The former Death Row Records owner, better known to the government as Marion Knight, has reportedly had an arrest warrant issued for him after he missed a court appearance last week. Suge was set to appear on charges from driving on a suspended license from back in 2009 but didn't show.

The first lady of Young Money, Nicki Minaj, recently announced a release date for her long-awaited debut album. Minaj says that her solo project will hit stores in November but did not give an album title. "Yes. It's time. November 23rd," she told her followers on Twitter.

Oscar Grant New Year's Day Murder Verdict

Oscar Grant, an unarmed African-American, was murdered New Year’s Day 2009 by a former BART officer in Oakland. People close to Oscar's family have been trying to garner the support of the public since January in order to showcase the horrendous acts of the Oakland cops. Familiar happenenings between the black community and city police forces.
The killing was recorded on video by several witnesses. People were outraged because the officer, Johannes Mehserle, who is white, shot his gun into the back of Grant. He went on trial for his actions, and

Prosecutors say Mehserle, 28, deliberately shot his gun into 22 year old Oscar Grant’s back as he attempted to handcuff him. Mehserle claims he believed he was pulling out his taser instead of his firearm.

Mehserle resigned from BART a week after the shooting.

A friend of Grant’s testified he heard Mehserle say that he was going to use his taser on Grant and three other gentlemen. Others testified that Mehserle showed immediate grief after shooting Grant. Prosecutor David Stein said, "He let his aggression dictate his conduct."

A defense attorney told the jury, "He's sick to his stomach, because he has shot a man who did not deserve to be shot."

Mehserle was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter yesterday afternoon. He faces two to four years.

Several members of Oscar Grant’s friends and family have filed multi-million dollar lawsuits against the transit agency.

Although his verdict was unjust to many, it's a shame similiar outrage isn't shown for black on black crime. Riots even broke out in Oakland after yesterday's verdict.

According to producer Dame Grease, DMX will be a free man today (July 6th) after only serving just over four months behind bars after he violated his probation last spring. During an interview on Shade 45 satellite radio, 50 went in on the King of Ciroc:

Drake Admits He's Only A Studio Singer

Young Money's new star Drake recently talked about possibly giving up rapper to be an R&B singing star. The more he thought about it, Drake realized that rapping is his real talent. "I could never really take singing on the road the way I can take rapping on the road. I can't get on stage and blow people away with my range and vocals. I'm a studio singer because I can convey emotion and I have unique melodies, so that's kind of what I pride myself on, but that's where it stops. I make music more for people to listen to rather than to hold me as an R&B artist. Not to wish that I couldn't sing better. If I could sing like Trey [Songz] then yeah, I'd definitely just want to be a singer. If I could do anything, trust me, I wish I could just sit at the piano and sing."

Lil Wayne Catches A Break On Drug Case

Although he's currently incarcerated, Dwayne "Lil Wayne" Carter, caught a break for his Arizona drug possession case and will avoid more jail time by getting only three years probation. On Wednesday evening (June 30th), Weezy was sentenced to three years of probation for a drug possession charge. By pleading guilty to one count of possession of a dangerious drug, three other charges were dropped "We're quite glad that we were able to wrap everything up," Wayne's lawyer Tilson told Reuters. "It's a favorable plea agreement that will allow Mr. Carter to pursue his career."

Suge Gets 100-Yard Restraining Order

Former head-honcho for Death Row Records, Marion "Suge" Knight" recently has been issued a 100-yard restraing order. Suge will have to stay away from a man that he allegedly tried to kill. The man says that Suge Knight "had 8 guys come to my house and told them to get me or kill me," ... one day afteer Suge was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.

Rap star Drake and Virgin Group chair Sir Richard Branson arrived at Toronto's Pearson International Airport on a special Virgin America flight from California.
