The Video Music Awards have already racked up one arrest, and they don't even start for another day and a half. According to none-other than TMZ.com, rapper Petey Pablo was arrested after he allegedly tried to sneak a gun through airport security in North Carolina. Petey was boarding a flight bound for California so that he can attend tomorrows' MTV Video Music Awards.
Better known to the government as Moses Barrett III, Petey Pablo was arrested and charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a stolen firearm. Reports say that he posted the $50,000 bond and was released. He is due back in Wake County Court Monday.
