Freeway Rick Ross Still After The Boss

Alleged former drug kingpin Ricky "Freeway" Ross has came forward once again to say his goal of taking down Def Jam rapper Rick Ross for using his name, is not over. Although his lawsuit was recently dismissed, Freeway says he isn't done.

"I'm in state and federal. Because, the federal judge, he made some mistakes inside the case. And, he really sanctioned my case when he said what he said, because he said I had state issues. And the federal law says if there is any possibility that there's a claim then he must resolve the claim. He can't leave issues on the table. [The issue being] that he used my name, he used my copyright without my permission...Once you use the name in public, in a certain format, that automatically copies it. And then another person is not allowed to come in and portray that they're something that they're not."

Amber Rose Talks End Of Model Contract

Video vixen Amber Rose, Kanye West's ex-girlfriend, recently came forward to clear up reports that suggested she was released from her contract with Ford Models. Taking to her twitter account, Amber Rose said her contract just ended.

"I did NOT get dropped from FORD Models my contract was up now I'm with CAA @Shelterok don't believe everything u read babe :-)," Rose tweeted Monday (February 7). (Amber Rose's Twitter)

Amber Rose is undoubtedly best-known for having dated Kanye West. During their relationship, her "modeling career" was managed by Ford Models, one of the top agencies in the industry. But it seems now that her relationship with Kanye has run its course, so has her partnership with Ford. The agency told the NY Post they no longer represent Amber. It's unknown who her new agency is, or if she even has one, but someone is definitely negotiating deals for her.

Waka Flocka Teams Up With PETA

Rapper Waka Flocka Flame has become the latest artist to team up with animal rights organization PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). According to multiple reports,Waka Flocka's involvement with PETA will start later this month.

Launching on February 22, Waka will be joining PETA's "Ink Not Mink" campaign in Los Angeles, CA alongside Lady Gaga, Pink, and Mariah Carey, Flame's publicist, Kali Bowyer said. When commenting on his involvement with PETA, the 1017 Brick Squad rep told XXL, "Animals should be treated the same as you would a kid. Would you want someone just to walk up and skin your kid? H*ll no!"

DJ Khaled Plans We The Best Forever

DJ Khaled recently sat down to talk about his upcoming album "We The Best Forever," a complilation album that he intends to keep in-house with Cash Money records. According to the DJ, he plans to team up with Cash Money / Young Money artists like Drake and Nicki Minaj for the project.

"I definitely will have Drake on my album; definitely will have Nicki Minaj on there. I got something special I'm working with the team. You're going to have all your favorite artists on there. Me collaborating with Cash Money -- making amazing records and coming out with amazing songs. We're going to give you a classic now. I can tell you I was in the studio the other day with Kanye West. Rihanna's “S&M” Video Is Banned In 11 Countries

Immediately after Rihanna dropped her “S&M” video on Tuesday, people started talking about how controversial it was… like the song isn’t called “S&M”.

By Wednesday, it had been banned in 11 countries and the U.K.’s BBC 1 Radio said listeners won’t hear the song before 7pm. Which, to the video’s director Melina Moustakas, means she and Rihanna did their job.

“When I go out to make something, I kind of go out with the intention to get it banned — [well] not to get it banned, I always want my stuff played — but to make something provocative,” Matsoukas told MTV News. “So when you do something that’s provocative, that’s usually a repercussion. It’s gonna be talked about or banned or slandered in some way. But it’s making an effect and people are having a dialogue about it, so, to me, that’s successful.”

For Matsoukas, it’s the video’s harshest critics who are the most amusing.

“I mean, the song is called ‘S&M’!” she laughed. “So I think that the imagery follows suit with what the song is. I wouldn’t play down the imagery for a song that’s so strong. It makes sense to develop it further and really take it there. So if they don’t want to play it, [fans] can watch it somewhere else.”

One of those places airing the video uncensored is MTV. Matsoukas, who previously directed Rihanna’s “Rude Boy” and “Rockstar 101″ clips and Beyoncé’s “Why Don’t You Love Me,” said it’s the first time MTV hasn’t requested changes to one of her videos.

Juelz Santana Calls His Arrest A Joke

Dipset's own Juelz Santana recently was on New York Hip Hop Radio station Hot 97 to speak about his recent incarceration, defending his image. Yesterday (February 3rd), Juelz explained what went down earlier this week.

"I'm a free man out on bail," Santana told radio host Angie Martinez. "I'm just doing my regular thing, I'm still me. It's just an unfortunate situation, got caught up...They raided my studio, said things was going on. The charges was just kind of crazy...For one, I wasn't even in my studio when they raided. They raided my studio, they found whatever they want to say they found, and they just put a bunch of charges on me...They had a warrant out for my arrest since last week. I had just turned myself in and I was supposed to be out right there -- but once I get in there, they're like, 'Oh, the computers is down because of the ice storms and all that.' I'm like, 'Wow.' ... I'm definitely going to be fighting this, because like I said, they didn't catch me with nothing. My studio is a place where a bunch of people come in and out. They put me out as selling dime bags of weed. That's a joke! ... I wasn't even there. Never in the case of history would you find Juelz selling no dime bags of marijuana." (Hot 97)
